About Dean Holman
Dean Holman was elected Medina County Prosecuting Attorney in 1988. He was re-elected to that position again in 1992, 1996, 2000, and 2004. Prosecutor Holman received his undergraduate degree from the University of Akron. He later received his law degree from the University of Akron in 1980.
Mr. Holman was an assistant Medina County Prosecutor from 1981 to 1984. He was the chief assistant prosecutor in Huron County from 1985 through 1986.
Mr. Holman maintained a private law practice in Brunswick, Ohio from 1985 through 1997. He is a member and former board member of the Brunswick Optimist Club, a member of the Board of Directors of the Brunswick Salvation Army, a member of the Brunswick Chamber of Commerce, and past member of the Board of Directors of the Cleveland Baseball Foundation.
He previously served as president of the Ohio Prosecuting Attorneys Association (OPAA) and also was a member of the executive committee and secretary and treasurer of the organization.
